Bhubaneswar: On Tuesday, two students went missing from a private school in the Sundarpur area of the Odisha capital's Chandaka police limits.
Prithviraj Pradhan of Kunjimahal village and Sonu Kumar of the Bharatpur area have been identified as the two missing students. Both are 15 years old and in Class X.
According to sources, the auto-rickshaw driver who picks them up from school discovered they were missing and notified their parents. The pair allegedly left the school to buy biscuits and have been missing since. The family members then went on a frantic search for them in the nearby woods. They filed a missing persons report with Chandaka police late last night after being unable to locate them.
A Chandaka police team went to the school and questioned the officials. The CCTV cameras installed near the school are also under investigation.
Family members are concerned that the two students have been kidnapped.
