Jagatsinghpur: On Monday afternoon, the body of one of the three Plus-II students who went missing while bathing in the Devi river near Machagaon in Odisha's Jagatsinghpur district was discovered.
According to sources, the three Bhubaneswar residents were visiting a friend in Ambashala village, Balikuda block. This morning, four friends went to the river and accidentally fell into deep water. One of them was rescued by locals and taken to a nearby hospital, while the body of another was discovered in the afternoon.
Meanwhile, firefighters have launched an investigation to find the missing students, the identities of whom are unknown.
