7-year-old critical in mobile battery explosion in Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur: On Sunday, a kid was hurt when a cellphone battery detonated while he was attempting to tamper with it in the district.
According to reports, the event occurred when a 7-year-old boy attempted to crush the battery with a stone, which resulted in the explosion. Anant Bhatra of Cheraguda village in Dabugan block was recognised as the boy.
Anant's family hurried him to the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Dabugan after he suffered burn injuries in the battery explosion. As his condition worsened, he was transferred to the Nabrangpur DHH.
