Anyone who betrays their team betrays his mother: Chellakumar

Bhubaneswar: "Anyone who betrays their team betrays his mother", it has to end. The troublemakers will face harsh punishment. Additionally, people speaking in the media about buying and selling congressional votes will face repercussions. Congress leader Chellakumar gave a warning.

On Sunday at the Congress Bhawan in Bhubaneswar, a preliminary meeting was presided over by Chellakumar, the state director for the Congress in Odisha. The discussion, attended by party leaders like MPs, MLAs, district presidents, and general secretaries, covered essential tactics for bolstering polling places and getting in front of voters directly. To enhance its grassroots, the party intends to create core groups.

Odisha Congress wants to significantly strengthen its position as the general elections of 2024 drew nearer, amid an expected two-way contest between the BJD and the BJP.

On this occasion, Chellakumar declared that chaos and troublemakers would never be tolerated. They will face harsh consequences. The individual is not up to par, but the team is. The Congress party has helped many who describe themselves as great leaders today get to where they are in society. Because of the Congress party, there are now MLAs, MPs, Ministers, etc. They were introduced to society by the Congress party.

The party and its leaders are being criticized in the media and other media, and some people are still making efforts while spread the message that they are more significant than the party. As a result, the Congress party is suffering greatly, and these leaders are cultivating a negative attitude toward the Congress party.

The gathering also concentrated on putting essential plans into action to win back its lost supporters. According to reports, Congress will begin its "Haath Se Haath Jodo" Abhiyan in January, which will last two months and highlight the shortcomings of the federal administration and state governments. Senior party leaders have been given vital duties for setting the agenda to make "Haath Se Haath Jodo Abhiyan" a success.

Chella Kumar said by educating people about the miserable performance of the Naveen Patnaik-led BJD government in the state and the Narendra Modi administration at the federal level. It is hoped to revitalize the Congress in Odisha.

The hand-to-hand partnering initiative will continue in every district of Odisha starting on January 26th at the booth, village, retreat, block, and district levels. Congress will be able to communicate directly with its employees, the general public, intellectuals, farmers, tribal members, scheduled tribes, and, notably, women in every village through this program. Every community will fly the flag of Congress.

Sarat Patnaik, the former president of the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC), spoke to the politicians present and stated that the state of Odisha is currently experiencing an unfortunate condition for the youth, women, low-income groups, tribals, scheduled castes, farmers, and middle-class people. With discipline, progress is possible. Everyone does not experience success.

To succeed, a lot of sacrifices must be made. To those who assert that the Congress has reached an agreement, I reiterate that none of the Congress party's leaders has done so. They might not be familiar with Congress's ancestry. To promote the general public's interest in Odisha, we must mobilize individuals at all levels. The more diligently we labour, the closer we become to becoming "Janata Janardan's" real benefactor and servant.

In today's Haath Se Haath Jodo preparation meeting program, all the district presidents gave their opinion to organize this program as a guide. Women, youth, students and leaders of various departments also gave their views.

Former PCC President Niranjan Patnaik, Jaydev Jena, Prasad Harichandan and former LoP Leaders Narasingha Mishra, Sarat Raut, Sura Routray, Ramesh Jena, Santosh Singh Saluja, Rajan Eka, Adhiraj Mohan Panigrahi, Bandita Parida, Yasir Nawaz, Bhujabhol Majhi and District Congress President and senior Congress leaders were also present at the meeting.
