CM Naveen Launches Logo Of ‘Odisha Juggernauts’

Bhubaneswar: The emblem for the "Odisha Juggernauts," the state squad for the league's debut season, which will begin in 2022, was unveiled on Thursday by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
The fifth franchise in the league is controlled by the Odisha Sports Development and Promotion Company (OSDPC). While corporate behemoths Adani Group and GMR Group hold the Gujarat and Telangana franchises, respectively, Capri Global and KLO Sports are the proprietors of the Rajasthan and Chennai teams.
In this second direct sports project for the government, the OSDPC is partnering with top steel producer ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India Limited (AM/NS India), which already owned a team in the Hockey India League in 2013 called the Kalinga Lancers.
It is important to note that Odisha recently competed in the Khelo India Youth Games and won silver medals in the boys' and girls' Kho Kho divisions.
