Close shave for Bhadrak MLA after truck hits his SUV

Jajpur: Sanjib Kumar Mallick, a BJD MLA from Bhadrak, had a lucky escape from a serious traffic accident in the early hours of Wednesday.
Mallick was driving from Bhubaneswar to Bhadrak when his vehicle was hit by a speeding truck travelling from the opposite direction at Jarka and fled, according to sources.
Thankfully, the MLA and his driver were unharmed when the vehicle collided with the right side of the bonnet.
Local police arrived on the scene and rescued the couple from the vehicle, transporting them to Bhadrak in another vehicle.
The truck is being tracked down.
