Odisha’s BPUT Seeks Online Applications For Admissions To PhD Programmes

Bhubaneswar: Biju Patnaik University for the Engineering, Architecture, Computer Applications&Science, Management and Pharmacy (BPUT) Rourkela has requested applications from qualifying applicants in the 2021-22 pharmaceutical programme.

'Eligible candidates can sign up for the website entrance examination at www.bput.ac.in by way of a Crossed Demand / Banker Check of Rs 1000 in favour, paid for on or before November 06 by Rourkela, Director of Engineering Examinations at Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha, Chhend, Rourkela- 15, Sundergarh, as notified.

All applicants seeking admission to the PhD programme must be qualified.

A Master of Technology Degree or equivalent in Civil, CSE/IT, ECE/ETC/E&I, EE/EEE, BPUT mechanical or whatever university recognises that candidate should have a Masters degree in Engineering/Tecnology at the University of Engineering with a minimal CGPA of 6.5 out of the 10 or 60 per cent marks of the aggregate at Masters level.

The candidate should have a Master's degree in Architecture I or a universitary recognised equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 out of 10 or 60% of the aggregate marks in the Master's Degree in the appropriate field for the Faculty of Architecture.

The applicant for the Faculty of computer science must be a graduate of the university, with a minimum of CGPA of 6.5 of 10 or 60.0% of aggregate marks, in Computer application/physicology/chemistry/polymer science & technology.

The candidate should have an MBA/equivalence degree from a recognised university for the Faculty of Management with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 out of 10 or an aggregate degree of 60.0%.

For the Faculty of Pharmacy the applicant should have an equivalent degree in MPhirm from a university recognised with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 out of 10, or an overall marks of 60 percent.

PhD Entry Test is scheduled for 28 November.
