Coal Minister Meets Officials of Mines in Odisha

Coal Minister Meets Officials of Mines in Odisha

On Friday, Union Coal Secretary Pralhad Joshi met with officials of mines.

During the meeting, Joshi examined the progress in the state mining block auctioning process and said it needed to speed up the allocation process.

At the meeting, Raosaheb State Minister of Railways Raoehee Patil Danve and Prafulla Kumar Mallik, Odisha's Minister of Mines attended.

Joshi and Danve will be visiting the state for three days. On Wednesday, they arrived here.

The visit is due to the extreme coal scarcity in the country's power plants.
