Congress releases list of star campaigners for Dhamnagar bypoll, MLA Moquim excluded

Bhubaneswar: Following the ruling BJD and the opposition BJP, the Congress party unveiled its list of star campaigners for the byelection to Padampur in Odisha's Bargarh district on Saturday.
Odisha in-charge Chellakumar, OPCC president Sarat Patnaik, former OPCC president Niranjan Patnaik, and senior politicians including Narasingha Mishra, Jaydev Jena, and Suresh Routray are among the Congress' 40 star campaigners.
However, the name of Barabati-Cuttack legislator Mohammad Moquim is not on the list. He was also not among the party's top campaigners in the recent Dhamnagar byelection.
The BJD revealed its list of celebrity campaigners earlier in the day, which featured Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and prominent leaders like as Pranab Prakash Das and Prasanna Achraya, while the BJP's list included Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, Ashwini Vaishnaw, Arjun Munda, and Bisheswar Tudu.
