Dharmendra Pradhan Participates In ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign

Rourkela: Union Minister for Education and Skill Development Dharmendra Pradhan took part in the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign in the Sundargarh district of Odisha on Saturday, praising the Tricolor as a sign of pride and solidarity.

At the presence of senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Jual Oram, Pradhan opened an exhibition on "Har Ghar Tiranga" and "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" in the steel city of Rourkela.

Pradhan said the display will instil pride and motivate our youth toward nation development. He noted that the country's future generations must learn about our liberation fighters, especially the lesser-known and forgotten figures.

People have promised to bring the Tricolur home in response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rallying cry as part of the effort to turn it into a historic popular movement, and the exhibition raises awareness of the contributions of unsung independence heroes.

The Union Minister stated that in order to elevate India to new heights, the youth must be taught the spirit and honesty with which our country's liberation fighters battled for their independence.

He stated that the national flag represents the togetherness and pride of the 130 million Indians, and that young people make major contributions to the development of the country.

Pradhan participated in the "Tiranga Yatra" in the steel city while carrying the Tricolor and urging the youth to take part in the nationwide campaign. A sizable crowd participated in the yatra, which was carried through several streets by participants bearing the national flag.

Till August 15, the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign, which is a component of the "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav," will be held in remembrance of India's 75th anniversary of independence. At honour of India's 75th anniversary of independence, the Central Government has urged citizens to hoist or display the Tricolor in their residences from August 13 to August 15.

The National Flag may be flown or displayed on any day or event by a person, a private business, or a school. The period during which the flag is displayed is not limited. The Indian Tricolor may now be flown openly and on specific homes or structures throughout the day and night according to a government amendment to the country's flag code.

The Government of India has launched an effort called Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to commemorate and celebrate 75 years of independence as well as the illustrious past of India's people, culture, and accomplishments. The goal of the initiative is to encourage Indians everywhere to fly the flag at home. Instead of just keeping it formal or institutional, the program's goal is to make the bond with the national flag more personal.

The purpose of the campaign is to instil a sense of patriotism in the public and raise awareness of the Tricolor.
