Heavy Rain To Lash 10 Districts in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: On Thursday, the regional office of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted that some areas of the ten districts of Odisha would experience light to moderate rain, thunderstorms, and lighting up till 7.30 p.m.
In addition to the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, severe weather will also be present for the next three hours in Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Jagatsinghpur, Balasore, Jajpur, Cuttack, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, and Malkangiri.
In order to protect themselves against lightning strikes, people have been encouraged to monitor the weather and migrate to safer locations as needed.
The MeT office had earlier in the day projected that till 8.30 am on Friday, there would be one or two locations with heavy rain in Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Ganjam, Boudh, Angul, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Keonjhar, Bhadrak, and Jajpur.
