High Court Petition on ASO Exam amid flood

Cuttack: The Assistant Section Officer (ASO) written test, which is planned for August 27, has been the subject of a petition filed in the Orissa High Court, along with a request to postpone it in light of the flood situation in Odisha.
Tuesday is the scheduled hearing date. The petition has designated the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC), which administers the ASO exam, as a defendant.
According to news sources, the plea was submitted on August 22 by a Debi Prasad Sarangi.
The OPSC had announced on Saturday that the ASO written test would now be held on August 27 after being postponed due to the flood situation. The test was initially slated on August 21.
