Lady teacher Murder case: BJP Leader demands Rs 2 Cr Compensation for Mamita's Kin
Bhubaneswar: With pressure being increased on the State Government in the issue of the assassination of Mamita Meher, the Odisha BJP requested that the kin of the deceased be compensated for Rs2 crore.
Pradipta Naik, the opposition leader, also requested the government to supply a family member with work in the media.
Naik also called for police protection for Mamita's family in addition to compensation. Naik asked CEO Naveen Patnaik to instruct police to safeguard the family of Mamita.
It may be mentioned that 24-year old Mamita was missing on 8 October and found in the school's under construction stadium her body cut buried at Sunshine English Medium School in Kalahandí district.
Govinda has acknowledged to the police that he had strangled Mamita into a car to the death of the president of the school management committee.
