Accused In Mamita Meher Murder Case Torched Her Mobile Phone: Crime scene
Bhawanipatna: On Thursday, the Balangir Police brought Mahaling Stadium in Odisha's district of Kalahandi to recreate the crime scene by Govín Sahu, the leading accused in the Mamita Meher assassination case.
The chief suspect was also brought into Chandatara Chhak, where he reportedly provided the school instructor an elevator, chair of the board of directors of the Sunshine English Medium School.
Deepak Kumar and Balangir SP Kusalkar Nitin Dagdu have been present at the DIG (Northern Range).
Sahu has instructed the police to bring the carcass into the stadium, where a fireplace was excavated from the parking lot on October 8, about 8pm in the backyard. He had prepared to burn the body with fuel and wood.
Sahu claimed most proof, including Mamita's cell phone, had been destroyed. After fifteen minutes, he departed the place.
The culprit, according to the police, had admitted to killing Mamita after threatening to disclose his extramarital affair. It's an anticipated assassination.
Earlier that day the Sahu assistant Radheshyam Chandi, alias Radhe, detained in relation to the crime the previous day, was arrested by a police bag. The bag included three women's clothes, a cell telephone and a loader and some medications. It was alleged that The wife of Radhe said she had found her luggage under her bed. He was the primary accused's driver. On the fateful day (October 8th), however, when Mamita was absent, Sahu drove the automobile alone. On 19 October, police excavated her body's remains from her stadium.
Sahu was caught on a Tuesday following his slipping out of Titlagarh Police Barrack, where he had been imprisoned since Sunday evening on 14 October. He is in police detention at the present time.
