Odisha CM Patnaik begins distribution of BSKY smart health cards in Baripada
Baripada: The smart cards of Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) were handed to Mayurbhanj beneficiaries on Friday by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
The Chief Minister came in the city in the morning and took the journey to Sahid Smruti Bhawan where he gave the intelligent health cards to certain recipients, according to the schedule.
In 26 blocks and four municipal bodies, District administrations will distribute the smart cards. Mayurbhanj is Odisha's seventh district, where cards were given by Naveen.
The Chief Minister laid the foundation for several projects totaling Rs 2481 crore, and then inaugurated them.
The state administration intended to furnish 3,5 crore individuals from 96 lakh homes with intelligent health cards. Each family can get up to Rs 5 lakh per year, and up to Rs 10 lakh can be used by female members.
The Chief Minister announced the rollout of intelligence cards in 200 hospitals throughout the nation on Independence Day.
