Man dies infront of wife as two bikes collide in Boudh

Boudh: In a terrible accident, a man lost his life and his wife was injured on a road in the Boudh district of Odisha on Friday.

According to sources, a bike rider struck Jagannath Jagadala and his wife Padmalaya Jagadala of Baidikata in the district while they were riding home. The mishap happened on National Highway 57 in Boudh, close to Khuntabandha Chowk.

Padmalaya was hurt, but Jagannath and the other bike rider perished instantly. When Boudh police station was notified, a team went to the scene and transported Padmalaya to a nearby hospital. She was afterwards moved to Burla Medical College and Hospital in the Sambalpur district.

As a teacher at the Polytechnic Institute of Boudh, Jagannath was employed. The identity of the other deceased person is unknown.
