Man killed in bomb attack in Odisha village

Puri: Tuesday night, a young man was killed after his uncle allegedly threw five homemade bombs at his home in Naibhansar village, Delang block, in the Puri district of Odisha.
Tapan Das has been named as the deceased.
According to sources, after a heated altercation between the two families regarding prior animosity, Tapan's brother filed a case against his uncle, Bidyadhar Das, at the Harirajpur police station on Tuesday. Bidyadhar allegedly threw five homemade explosives at Tapan's home out of rage about it.
While attempting to save his daughter from the explosion, Tapan suffered a catastrophic injury. He was taken to AIIMS-Bhubaneswar and later declared dead.
To stop any unpleasant incidents, police were stationed in the village. It is being investigated.
