Boudh: On Wednesday, three family members died from electrocution after touching a live wire in the Boudh district of Odisha's Jabalpur village, which is under the jurisdiction of the Harabhanga police.
Sukanti Behera, her brother-in-law Sushil Behera, and her son Sohan Behera have been named as deceased.
Sushil and Sohan were electrocuted while attempting to save Sukanti when she touched the live wire while drying clothing.
After hearing shouts for aid, the neighbours hurried to the scene and turned off the power before rescuing the group. But after being taken to Cuttack's SCB hospital, all three were declared dead.
