One Killed, eight Injured In Road Mishap In Sambalpur

Sambalpur: A person was murdered and eight others were critically injured when their private bus collided with a vehicle on the rear at Khinda chhak on the Biju Expressway under Rengali block in Sambalpur district early this morning.

While the deceased has yet to be recognised, all injured people have been brought to Jharsuguda's District Headquarters Hospital.

According to reports, a private bus transporting passengers named Mahalaxmi was travelling from Jharsuguda to Sambalpur when the driver lost control of the vehicle and smashed it into the backside of a truck.

Thelakuli police have arrived and begun their inquiry.
