Private COVID Vaccination Centres To Get Refund On Vaccine

Bhubaneswar: On Thursday, the Odisha government directed district collectors and municipal commissioners to take action to repay claims made by commercial COVID Vaccination Centers (CVC).
The private CVCs must submit their claims by July 20th, and verification will take two days.
The Union Health Ministry has made the reimbursement mechanism active and set SOPs to make the refund process easier for private CVCs. The National Health Authority (NHA) portal will be used by Private CVCs to file refund claims.
In his directive, Additional Chief Secretary PK Mohapatra directed that account reconciliation and claim settlement should be concluded by July 31.
The price paid for the returned vaccination doses, as well as the amount paid for doses that were paid for but not delivered to private hospitals, would be refunded to the individual private hospitals.
