RPF Constable Saves passenger From Being Run Over By Train In Jajpur

Jajpur: On Tuesday, an alert Railway Protection Force (RPF) employee saved a passenger from being crushed under the wheels of a moving train at the railway station in Odisha's Jajpur.
The CCTV footage shows the passenger, identified as Sagar Kumar Patra, attempting to board the Dhauli Express as it departs Platform 3 at 2:45 p.m. Patra slipped as the train approached, dangerously close to the space between the platform and the train.
Lal Bihari Ram, a Railway Protection Force (RPF) policeman, was seen racing to the scene and bringing the youth to safety while another passenger held on to him from inside the train.
RPF Ram also requested that the train's speed be reduced. "The passenger was confirmed to be perfectly fit and healthy and returned to his house," Jajpur Road RPF IIC said.
