Puri: Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) Chief Administrator Krishan Kumar said, "all arrangements have been made for the successful organisation of the Annual Chariot Festival with the assistance of the servants and the public."

With less than 48 hours to go for the Annual Rath Jatra of Lord Jagannath here, SJTA Chief Dr.Kumar said that the three chariots- Lord Jagannath’s ‘Nandighosh’, Lord Balabhadra’s ‘Taladwaja’ and Devi Subhadra’s ‘Darpadalan’ chariots are ready to roll on the Grand Road on Monday.

An official stated that some ornamental work, such as flower adornment and colourful fabric mending, will be completed by Sunday.

To avoid any possible crowding, all entry and exit points to the sacred town will be sealed a day before the Ratha Jatra.

Meanwhile, the Puri District Administration urged all tourists and visitors to leave hotels, accommodations, and guest houses on Saturday since the Odisha government has barred public involvement in the big celebration.
