Phulbani: On Wednesday, an explosion at a private English medium school in the Baliguda area of Odisha's Kandhamal district seriously injured three students.
According to sources, the incident occurred during lunch break at the school in Rutungia, Baliguda, when the students were examining an unidentified object brought by one of them.
The three were critically injured when the unknown object exploded, causing panic among students on the school grounds.
The children were rushed to a hospital in Baliguda before being transferred to the district headquarters hospital in Phulbani.
