Bhubaneswar: OUTR student found hanging in hostel room; family alleges murder

Subhrajyoti Rout of Kendrapada has been identified as the deceased. He was in his final year of the Integrated MSc (Physics).
Subhrajyoti spoke on the phone with his parents last night, according to sources. When they attempted to contact him this morning, he did not respond. Following that, they notified police, who arrived at the hostel and transported the body to Capital Hospital for a postmortem.
His father, Abhay Rout, filed a written complaint at the Bharatpur police station, alleging that his son was murdered.
