Days after a woman's body was discovered in a train toilet in Bhubaneswar, the Government Railway Police (GRP) has put up posters in an effort to identify her.
Bhubaneswar: Days after a woman's body was discovered in a train toilet in Bhubaneswar, the Government Railway Police (GRP) has put up posters in an effort to identify her.
According to sources, the posters were placed at railway stations in various locations, including Bhubaneswar and other congested areas, in order to determine the identity of the woman.
It should be noted that the unidentified woman's body was discovered in the toilet of the Dhanbad-Bhubaneswar Express train (02831) after it arrived at Bhubaneswar railway station on Thursday. The body was discovered inside the lavatory of the train's S/5 coach.
According to the GRP's posters, the body appeared to be that of a married woman with around five feet of height, a slim figure, and a dusky complexion. She wore a salwar and kurti, red bangles, and a 'Mangalsutra' imitation.
The identity of the person providing information about the unidentified woman will be kept secret, and appropriate rewards will be given, according to the statement.
