Bhubaneswar: It was a close call for passengers on a bus that caught fire near Borigumma bus stand in Odisha's Koraput district on Thursday after a tyre burst.

According to sources, the moving bus caught fire while traveling from Hyderabad to Sinhapalli. As the driver and helper quickly evacuated the passengers, no one was injured.

The Fire Department arrived on the scene and extinguished the flames after being notified.
