According to sources, a police team led by Digapahandi police station inspector-in-charge (IIC) Dipti Ranjan Meher visited Babul Clinic two days ago on the orders of Berhampur SP Saravana Vivek M, who had received a complaint from the family of an elderly woman treated by the bogus doctor.
Panda was detained after failing to produce any valid documentation to support his MBBS degree and registration number.
