A young man's body was discovered hanging on a swing installed for the Raja festival in a village in Odisha's Cuttack district's Banki area.

The incident occurred at Brahmei pitha, which is under the jurisdiction of Banki police station, and was discovered on Saturday morning. Anil Behera of Sahadapada village has been identified as the deceased.
Anil's family members claimed that he had been murdered. They claimed he went out with some of his friends the night before and never returned.
They also claimed that Anil's feet were touching the ground and demanded that the incident be thoroughly investigated.
According to sources, there was a dispute in the village yesterday during the festival.
After receiving information, police officers rushed to the scene and launched an investigation into the incident.
A forensic team also visited the scene, and police stated that a clear picture will emerge only after a thorough investigation.
They stated that after the postmortem, it will be determined whether the death was the result of suicide or murder.
