Nuapada: Two minor boys drown in pond
On Friday, two minor boys drowned while bathing in a pond in the Sinapali area of Odisha's Nuapada district. The victims have been identified as Brusabh and Amit Bandichhor.

Nuapada: On Friday, two minor boys drowned while bathing in a pond in the Sinapali area of Odisha's Nuapada district. The victims have been identified as Brusabh and Amit Bandichhor.
According to sources, Brusabh and Amit went to the village's Jharni pond to take a bath. When the two did not return home, their family members went in search of them and eventually found them in the pond.
The two, however, died on the way to the hospital. "The children had died before they were brought to the hospital," said Monjai Priyadarshini, medical officer at Sinapalli Community Health Centre.
Meanwhile, local residents have demanded that the government assist bereaved families.
