Sex racket busted in Jharsuguda; 13 women rescued, 14 men held
On Saturday night, police raided an alleged organized sex ring operating out of a hotel in Odisha's Jharsuguda district's Panchapada area.
Jharsuguda: On Saturday night, police raided an alleged organized sex ring operating out of a hotel in Odisha's Jharsuguda district's Panchapada area.
According to reports, 14 people have been arrested. Among them are the hotel's owner and 13 youths who were present during the 11 p.m. raid.
Jharsuguda Town Police have also exonerated 13 women involved in the flesh trade and seized numerous incriminating items from the premises. Further investigation is being conducted to determine the involvement of others in the racket.
According to sources, a similar ring was busted in the hotel in 2021.
