2 Bol Bam devotees killed, 13 others injured as car runs over them in Ganjam
After being hit by a car near Betnoi under Aska police limits in Odisha's Ganjam district late on Sunday, two Bol Bam devotees died and 13 others were injured.

Anita Jena (38) and Mukuna Behera (32) have been identified as the deceased.
According to sources, the accident occurred while a group of Kanwariyas was traveling towards Tadakeswar Temple with holy water from the Rushikulya river. While Anita died on the spot, the other victims of the accident were rescued and taken to the Aska Sub-divisional Hospital. They were later transferred to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur, where Mukuna died as a result of his injuries. Other injured people who are being treated at the hospital are said to be in stable condition.
Six other Kanwariyas who were with them escaped unharmed.
The Bol Bam devotees are from Arakhapur village in the district's Buguda block.
