5T Secretary VK Pandian faces ink attack in Puri's Satyabadi

Puri: On Saturday, Odisha's 5T Secretary VK Pandian, who is on a two-day visit to Puri, was pelted with ink while attending an event at UGS College in Satyabadi, Puri district.
According to sources, some of the ink also fell on Puri Collector Samarth Verma, who was accompanying the 5T secretary.
Following the ink attack on the bureaucrats, police detained one person, identified as Bhaskar Sahu.
The 5T Secretary, who is on a tour across Odisha at the request of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to hear people's grievances, has previously faced black flag protests. The district administrations then took precautionary measures to prevent such heinous incidents.
Notably, Pandian's trips have taken on political significance, with the state going to the polls in 2024.
