Bhubaneswar: New COVID cases fell for the second day in a row in the capital city on Tuesday, with 233 people testing positive for the disease compared to 286 on Monday and 371 on Sunday.
According to the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation, 55 new instances were registered in the last 24 hours, with 178 local contacts (BMC).
Patrapada had the most local contact cases, with 18, followed by Chandrasekharpur with 13, Nayapalli with 10, and Tankapani Road with nine.
The total number of Covid-19 users in the BMC area has already reached 98,585.
In the last 24 hours, 180 persons in the city have been cured of the virus, according to the local organisation.
