4 quintal ganja seized from Ambulance, driver arrested in Subarnapur
On Thursday morning, excise agents seized a large amount of ganja (marijuana) from an ambulance and arrested the driver in Odisha's Sonepur district.

"While on patrol this morning, excise sleuths spotted an ambulance coming from Manumunda and attempted to stop it. The driver fled, sparking a chase. The vehicle was eventually stopped at the block chhak," Sonepur District Excise Officer Sumati Tripathi told the media.
After a thorough search of the ambulance, they discovered 420 packets of marijuana, each containing 1 kg of the illegal substance. The ganja seized weighed 4.20 quintal.
The driver, identified as Upendra Sahu of Teliband village in Chhattisgarh's Raipur district, revealed that he was transporting ganja from Manumunda in Boudh district to Chhattisgarh, according to the officer.
