AP businessman robbed of gold jewellery and cash in Rayagada

Rayagada: On Sunday night, a businessman was robbed of gold jewellery worth Rs 50 lakh and cash worth Rs 9 lakh near Jamadeipentha in Odisha's Rayagada district.
The businessman, from Andhra Pradesh's Parvathipuram, sells gold jewellery to jewelers in the Rayagada district. When the incident occurred, he was returning to Parvathipuram on a scooter.
Two masked men on a motorcycle stopped him and grabbed the gold jewellery and cash he was carrying from him at gunpoint.
