BSKY Smart Cards distrubuted In Odisha’s Sonepur
Bhubaneswar: For a change, chief minister Naveen Patnaik used the Koshali dialect on Thursday to convey a message about the distribution of smart health cards under the BSKY programme in Odisha's Sonepur district.
In the morning, before attending the occasion in Sonepur via virtual mode, Naveen skipped Odia and wrote in the local dialect of western Odisha in his post.
"I am delighted to meet the folks of Subarnapur," the tweet reads in English. I'll dedicate some projects, lay the groundwork for others, and hand out Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana smart health cards."
Later, the Chief Minister announced the virtual distribution of smart health cards. The BSKY smart health card scheme would benefit around 1.5 lakh persons in the district.
He also committed Rs 300 crores to various projects for the residents of Sonepur.
It should be emphasised that smart cardholders in the scheme are eligible for free care at all state government hospitals as well as over 200 private hospitals across the country.
Under the BSKY system, each family is entitled to treatment benefits of up to Rs 5 lakh per year, with a cap of Rs 10 lakh for women.
