Bank Agriculture Officer Goes Missing In Balangir
Balangir: According to reports, an agriculture official for a bank has vanished in the Balangir area of Odisha, and a search operation has been begun to find him.
Dibyaranjan Mishra, an agriculture officer at the Punjab National Bank (PNB) branch in Barpali, vanished on Wednesday, giving rise to a variety of theories.
To find Mishra, a search operation has been started. After his bike and helmet were discovered on the bridge over the Anga Water near Cherupali on National Highway 26, sources indicated that fire service workers are searching in the river.
Mishra, a local of Balangir's Shantipada neighbourhood, was on his way home after serving in the field when he vanished. He had last spoken to the family in the evening, informing them that he was on his way home from work. He did not, however, make it home.
His family claimed that after it took a while, they were concerned and tried to reach him on his mobile phone but that it was found to be off. They insisted Mishra had no animosity toward anyone.
Police have initiated an investigation and are looking at the situation from many sides, sources stated.
