Cuttack District Congress celebrates Congress Foundation Day

Cuttack: Under the chairmanship of Cuttack District Congress President Manas Choudhury, the Foundation Day of the Indian National Congress was celebrated today at the Cuttack District Congress Office. Chowdhury began the celebration by hoisting the Congress flag. Choudhury stated on this occasion that the Congress party had given the country independence while also constructing a new India.

Manas Chowdhury said that countless Congress leaders and workers sacrificed their lives in the country's liberation movement. Even after independence, it works as a watchman to protect the country's integrity, democracy and constitution. The Indian National Congress, which had 72 members in 1885, is currently facing many challenges and failures. Congress is not a political party; it is a constant wake-up call for the country's people. Youth activists and public heroes like Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Nehru, Ballabhai Patel, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi have created this party. We are proud to be a member of this team.

Following this program, there was a thorough discussion on how to successfully organize the All India Congress Committee's "Hath Se Hath Jodo" campaign from the booth to the district level. Supervisors would be recruited at all levels, from the district to the block to the panchayat, stated Chowdhury. They will supervise the program. Leaflets will be distributed door to door to create public awareness against central and state government's failure, corruption, and anti-people programs. Video footage of the Bharat Jod program will also be shown. Rally and a public meeting will be organized at the block and district levels. A program will be held at the Panchayat Block Office to raise the general public's voice against widespread corruption in government schemes.

Former MLAs of Banki, Debashish Patnaik, Devendra Sahu, Prakash Mishra, Priyajit Roy, Dr Biplab Siladitya, Manoj Biswal, Sisir Ratho, Sadasib Barik, Sachidananda Rout, Student District Congress President Panasa Paul, Ashutosh Rout, Sarpanch and Barang Block President Ritanjali Samal, Block President Ram Chandra Gochhayat, Ranjan Senapati, Benudhar Pradhan, Kashinath Mahapatra, Ashutosh Barala, Sudarsan Sahu, Saroj Kumar Sahu, Akshay Karan, Ramakant Behera, Pratap Malik, Raj Sikan Swain, Deepak Mohanty, Rajesh Kumar Swain, Samarendra Hati and many other Congressmen were present.
