Berhampur: Aska police station in Odisha's Ganjam district led the state in overall performance this year through December 26.
Aska received 94.54% on the Pragati dashboard, established by the state crime records department, followed by Kodala (93.99%).
"Among 643 police stations listed across the state, our police station stood first according to the Pragati dashboard," TOI quoted Aska police station inspector in-charge (IIC) Prasant Kumar Sahoo as saying.
The dashboard was created this year to rank police stations based on their performance in areas such as people's grievances, case pendency, identification and decoding of issues, rate of conviction, filing of chargesheets, and so on.
