Fake Gold Brick racket busted In Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur: On Saturday, Papadahandi police stopped a Nabarangpur-bound car near Maidalpur outpost and seized a 4.5 kilogramme golden brick.
The golden brick was discovered to be a fake after an investigation, and it was intended to be sold to some unsuspecting citizens of the town. The automobile was on its way from Bhubaneswar, the state capital.
Six others were also apprehended in the automobile, and police took cash, five cellphones, five ATM cards, and two driver's licences from them.
Previously, thanks to the appeal of the yellow metal, certain smugglers were able to run a brisk business selling goldern conches in the town.
