Girl student of BJB College found dead in hostel

Bhubaneswar: On Saturday, a female student from Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar (BJB) Autonomous College was discovered dead in her dorm room. First-year Plus-III student Ruchika Mohanty has been named as the deceased.
According to the information, some Karubaki Hostel guests noticed Ruchika this afternoon and informed the hostel staff.
It was unknown if the girl committed suicide or was murdered. The body was found, taken for a post-mortem, and an investigation into the occurrence was launched by Badagada police who assume she committed suicide.
