Khurda: A Plus II girl student from the Khurda district of Odisha allegedly killed herself after sharing photos of her having sex with a boy on social media.
According to sources, the girl, who attends a college in the district's Nirakarpur police jurisdiction, ingested poison on Friday night at home. Her relatives learned of the alleged suicide on Saturday morning and called the police.
The body was taken by the police and sent for an autopsy. Alongside the body, they also discovered a note addressed to the IIC of the Nirakarpur police station.
According to the letter, the girl said that the lad from Khajuripada village's social media posts prompted her to take the drastic measure. Her father has urged that the teenager be punished severely for his daughter's passing.
