Mother, daughter die as house wall collapses in Phulbani

Phulbani: In a terrible occurrence, a mother and her five-year-old daughter perished on Thursday in Phulbani, Odisha's Kandhamal district, after being buried by a wall that collapsed on them as a result of nonstop rain.
Brundaban Majhi, his wife, their son, and daughter were buried beneath the wall when it collapsed on them following a severe downpour.
Firefighters from Phulbani went to the scene, but they were unable to get their vehicles there since it was on a hilly, small street.
However, the firefighters were able to free the family who had been trapped and take them straight to the hospital. Both the mother and the daughter were pronounced dead. The son's condition is critical.
