Bhubaneswar: On Saturday, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik departed on a two-day visit to New Delhi.

The CM will attend the National Committee For 75th Anniversary of India's Independence meeting at Rashtrapati Bhawan Cultural Centre at 4.30 pm, which will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Chief Ministers and Governors of various states, according to official sources.

He will leave for the state at 11 a.m. on Monday after participating in the seventh NITI Ayog Governing Council Meeting on Sunday at 9.45 a.m. at the same location.

The Vice Chairman of NITI Aayog, the Prime Minister, the Chief Ministers of all the states and Union Territories, the Lieutenant Governors of additional UTs, Ex-Officio Members, Full-Time Members of NITI Aayog, and Special Invitees make up the council. It is anticipated that topics linked to the economy, agriculture, and health would be covered. According to official sources, the council may also touch on the National Education Policy's (NEP) implementation, urban governance, health, and crop diversification.
