Odisha IAS Officer Anu Garg among 27 To Be Empanelled As Secretary

New Delhi: Anu Garg, an IAS officer from the Odisha cadre, has received approval from the Cabinet's Appointments Committee to be appointed as Secretary or Secretary-equivalent. On Thursday, the names of 27 IAS officers from various cadres from the 1991 batch were cleared for appointment as Secretaries or Secretary Equivalents. She is one of nine female IAS officers in total.
The other officers are Rachna Shah from Kerala, Nivedita Shukla Verma from Uttar Pradesh, Renu Gonela Pillay from Chattisgarh, Supriya Sahu from Tennessee, and Debashree Mukherjee from Kerala (UT).
