Odisha: Man Inserts crowbar Into Wife’s Private Parts over extramarital affairs
Keonjhar: In a horrific instance, a man allegedly killed his wife at Mundatangar village in the Keonjhar district of Odisha by stabbing her with a crowbar when she was having extramarital affairs.
Saraswati Munda has been named as the deceased.
Purusottam Naik, a friend from the village of Khaliadihi, was said to have dinner at the home of the accused Rabi Munda on July 24.
Later on in the evening, Bira discovered his wife with his friend Purusottam in an inappropriate situation. He allegedly pushed a crowbar inside her private area out of anger and seriously harmed her as a result.
She was transported to the district's main hospital from a CHC in Pandapada the following morning (DHHD). But the hospital's medical staff pronounced her dead.
The accused then brought her body and secretly carried out the final rituals.
Following intelligence, the Ghatagaon IIC arrived at the scene and exhumed the body in front of a tehshildar from the neighbourhood. After Bira admitted to the crime in front of the police, the officers also detained him.
"The accused was brought before the court, and the body was taken for a post-mortem. The matter is the subject of additional investigations, according to a police officer.
