Bhubaneswar: On September 17, Odisha's sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi a happy birthday with a beautiful sand sculpture on the Puri beach in his distinctive style. Sudarsan Pattnaik posted a picture of the sculpture he built in honour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Twitter, along with birthday wishes for the leader.
A PM Modi statue with the phrase "Happy Birthday Modi Ji" is featured in the sand art. There were 2035 seashells on the sculpture.
"Happy birthday to our honourable Prime Minister, @narendramodi ji. To serve mother India, may Mahaprabhu Jagannatha grant him long and healthy life. Odisha's Puri beach was the site of a sand art work that Sudarsan Pattnaik made with 2035 seashells and the hashtag #HappyBirthdayModiji.
Within a few hours of being published online, Sudarsan Pattnaik's message had amassed tens of thousands of likes. Social media users praised Sudarsan Pattnaik's effort in the comments section.
Although the sand artist has previously utilised seashells in his work, this isn't the first time. Over 7000 seashells were utilised for the first time in his artwork in September of this year. Sudarsan believes this is the world's first Lord Ganesha seashell sand installation art. He'd sculpted a magnificent image of Lord Ganesha.
