Prakruti files Rs 5.10 cr defamation case against Babushan’s wife

Bhubaneswar: Noted Ollywood actress Prakruti Mishra allegedly filed a defamation lawsuit against Trupti Satpathy and Lalit Satpathy, the father-in-law and wife of Odia actor Babushan Mohanty, on Wednesday in a court in Bhubaneswar.
According to reports, Mishra has filed a lawsuit against Trupti seeking Rs 5.10 crore in damages for assaulting her in the street here a month ago when she and Babushan were leaving for a film assignment.
It should be mentioned that the actress petitioned the Orissa High Court yesterday in response to the police's failure to act on the FIR her father had filed against actress Trupti Satapathy.
On July 23, Manmath Mishra, Prakruti's father, filed a complaint with the Kharvel Nagar police station regarding the alleged attack on her daughter by Trupti Satapathy, Babushaan's wife.
