Rail Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw's to visit Odisha From Nov 8

Bhubaneswar: On Monday, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will visit Jharsuguda to inspect existing projects and take the required actions to ensure their timely completion.

Vaishnaw will arrive in Jharsuguda at 5 p.m. on November 8, according to the schedule. He will depart the airport and travel to Circuit House, where he will have a discussion on issues concerning the South Eastern Railway and the East Coast Railway, as well as issues concerning the Jharsuguda and Bondamunda districts.

Vaishnaw will conduct an organisational meeting from 10.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on November 9 before departing for Delhi.

Vijay Kumar Sahu, Divisional Train Manager of Chakardharpur (CKP) Division, visited Jharsuguda railway station on Saturday to assess the various ongoing projects ahead of Vaishnaw's visit.

Vaishnaw would be visiting Odisha for the second time since being appointed into the Modi 2.0 Cabinet. In August, he visited the state for four days as part of the BJP's 'Jan Ashirwad Yatra.'

He took a train to Rayagada and then went on to attend the party's programmes in Koraput, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, and Balangir.
