Young Couple's Mutilated Bodies Found On Railway Track In Sambalpur

Sambalpur: On Thursday morning, the mutilated bodies of a young couple were discovered on a railroad track near Hirakud railway station in the district.
According to authorities, the bodies of a young man and a girl were discovered on the railway track beneath the Katapali overbridge near Hirakud station.
The bodies were confiscated by the Government Railway Police (GRP) after they were informed. They later sent the bodies for a post-mortem examination.
Because the bodies were badly damaged, early inquiry could not determine the identities of the deceased.
The police assumed it was a suicide, but they added the circumstances surrounding their death would be revealed after establishing their identity and conducting additional investigation based on the post-mortem findings.
